My (28F) husband (31M) of 6 weeks says he wants to be single... we have been together for 9 wonderful/happy years. Is this salvageable or is this the end? UPDATE: Confirmed that he is 100% cheating, which sucks but was also vindicating and actually makes me feel better about the gut feeling I had about the girl. Thank you all SO much for all the kind comments and messages I have received. It's been so helpful to read similar stories and to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That " prank" was a calculated act of cruelty. He really doesn't give a &*&^%$ about you except as a housekeeper and bedmate. At least you've seen what he truly is, so make your plans, stay composed, and leave when he's out of the house to your new location. Don't argue or give any warning, simply leave. Ordering immediately shortens their wait times for new people trying to sit down and eat. I'm not a server and even I knew that most places prefer you to get the heck out of there quicker so you can bring in more customers. It's like being on a plane they try to cycle as many people as possible through the place so they can make more money. Not have someone sitting there for hours on end hogging a table just to not tip.

Story 3: How have they not discussed anything about they're finances? They're looking to get married, but the guy knows literally nothing about how much she makes? They both really need to learn how to communicate about this type of stuff

It sounds like the last guy didn't even realize, as stupid as that sounds. Good on the friend for stepping up. They should have the difficult conversation about finances. If he wants her to join him for dinner at nice places, he at least needs to pay 7 times her portion. I wonder how their household finances are divided. Does he think its fair for her to pay 50/50 for a mortgage?
